Welcome to LIBERTE FINE JEWELLERY DESIGNING (“Liberté”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of libertefinejewels.com (the “Site”) and any purchase of products (“Products”) from us. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or purchase from us.

1. Definitions

  • “Customer”, “you”, “your”: any person using the Site or purchasing Products.
  • “Products”: fine jewellery crafted in 18K gold, set with natural or lab-grown diamonds and gemstones, and any related items sold by us.
  • “Order”: a request to purchase Products placed through the Site.
  • “Site”: libertefinejewels.com and any website operated by Liberté.
  • Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

2. Eligibility & Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your country) to make a purchase.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an Order or registering an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Orders, Production & Cancellations

  • All Orders are subject to acceptance by Liberté. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any Order at our discretion (for example, payment issues or suspected fraud), in which case any payment made will be refunded.
  • Most Liberté pieces are made to order. Please allow 7–10 working days for preparation and dispatch within the UAE, and 10–14 working days for orders outside the UAE. Customised pieces may take longer depending on the size and changes requested; we will confirm your timeline before production begins. During peak periods, launches or special releases, this may extend to 3–4 weeks.
  • Because pieces are made especially for you, cancellations are not accepted once the Order has been confirmed and production has begun.

4. Prices & Payment

  • All prices are listed in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham) unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices exclude shipping fees, customs duties or any additional charges unless specified. VAT is calculated at checkout where applicable.
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering using the payment methods available at checkout. If payment is not successful, we may cancel the Order.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Liberté ships within the UAE and internationally. Full details are available on our Shipping & Delivery page.
  • Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed; delays may occur due to customs, weather or courier issues.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the courier marks the shipment as delivered.
  • You are responsible for providing a correct shipping address. We are not liable for lost parcels due to incorrect addresses.

6. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

  • For international orders, you may be responsible for import duties, taxes or customs fees imposed by your country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

7. Returns & Exchanges

  • Each Liberté piece is made to order, created especially for you. For this reason, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.
  • Alterations: we are happy to assist with minor modifications that do not affect the original design, such as adjusting necklace length, slight sizing adjustments, or small additions where possible.
  • Remakes: if you wish to redesign or remake your piece, this can be arranged. Additional production costs will apply.
  • Damaged on arrival: if your piece arrives damaged, please take a photo and contact us immediately. We will work with the courier to arrange a repair, replacement or refund once their investigation is complete.

8. Warranty & Care

Every Liberté piece is inspected before it leaves our workshop. We offer a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects, including:

  • clasps or locks that break or fail to close properly;
  • stones that loosen due to a setting fault;
  • solder joints or links that fail under normal wear.

Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the affected part free of charge.

Complimentary care: during the first year, we also offer lock or clasp replacement, stone tightening, and professional cleaning and polishing free of charge. After the first year, these services remain available at a small cost.

The warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear, including surface scratches;
  • chains broken by pulling or catching;
  • lost stones resulting from impact or accidental damage;
  • damage caused by chemicals, perfume, chlorine or improper storage;
  • resizing or alterations (see Section 7);
  • pieces repaired or altered by anyone other than Liberté.

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims and complimentary care. Pieces must be sent or brought to us for inspection.

9. Product Information

  • We strive to display accurate product descriptions and images. Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings or lighting.
  • Each piece is handcrafted. Gold weights and diamond carat weights are approximate and may vary slightly depending on size and finish.
  • Diamonds are natural or lab-grown as stated on each product page and at the time of purchase.
  • Minor variations that do not affect the design or quality are not considered defects.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, designs, images, text, product names and content on the Site are the intellectual property of Liberté or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Liberté is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including loss of profits or data).
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product in question.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Liberté harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or Products, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

13. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Site, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Dubai, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

Liberté may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect when posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or purchase of Products after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
